Meet the World's Most Extraordinary Baroque Quartet!

Red Priest is the only early music group in the world to have been compared in the press to the Rolling Stones, Jackson Pollock, the Marx Brothers, Spike Jones and the Cirque du Soleil. This extraordinary acoustic foursome has been described by music critics as ‘visionary and heretical’, ‘outrageous yet compulsive’, ‘wholly irreverent and highly enlightened’, ‘completely wild and deeply imaginative’, with a ‘red-hot wicked sense of humour’ and a ‘break-all-rules, rock-chamber concert approach to early music’.... read on

"For sheer technical wizardry, charismatic showmanship and expressive devilment, Red Priest is in a exhilarating class of it’s own."
BBC Music Magazine

Devilishly fabulous performance at the Apex Bury St Edmunds last night, from the opening to the way you used the stage and the area behind the seats was mesmerising. As for the Cello from the classical to being used as a guitar - wow. My first but not last time in seeing you - come back soon.

Sat in the front row last night in Leeds... what a wonderful evening you gave us. I am passionate about Handel and you are too obviously. Great insights into the music, the performance and his times. Thank you for giving your all... Definitely want the recording!
